Vintage vs Classic. What’s the difference?

Barone Vintage saxophones feature a larger bell than a Barone Classic saxophone. When you want a bigger, louder sound—say for jazz or rock bands—you should consider a Vintage saxophone. If your preferences are rooted in a concert band, symphony band or orchestral environment, you might prefer the Classic.  Also, Vintage saxophones come with double arms on low C & B keys for extra strength & durability for the very active player or live performance musician for many years to come.  The Vintage saxophone is slightly heavier than the Classic.
