Designed for doublers that are primarily tenor players, the Jazz alto model has a low baffle mated with a medium chamber which makes for a dark, more spread sound with fat high notes and a easy, buttery low register. This mouthpiece has an especially good ability to blend in sections, subtone and can take a lot of air. It is darker than the New York model.
